Today’s announcement reveals that Google I/O 2025 will take place on May 20th and 21st at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Just as hinted earlier today, this annual developer conference will offer a mix of keynotes and workshops, both online and in-person. In keeping with past events, Google has introduced a small puzzle game, encouraging users to collaborate in solving it and ultimately unveiling the official dates for I/O 2025.

Google has provided additional details about I/O 2025 on its website through a FAQ section. According to this, the event will be accessible online for everyone on May 20-21, 2025. You can watch the livestreamed keynotes and sessions during these dates, and afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to explore technical content and learning materials at your own pace.

In addition to the on-site events at Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, there will be developer workshops led by communities worldwide. The company has announced that Day 1 of I/O 2025 will kick off with keynote speeches, followed by a variety of breakout sessions, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, networking events, and more on Day 2.
